Data Deletion

HairCRM users and authorized owners of Instagram Professional accounts connected to HairCRM may request the deletion of relevant data stored by HairCRM.

Disconnecting Instagram

An Instagram Professional account connected to HairCRM can be disconnected from the relevant connection or account management section within HairCRM.

Disconnecting the account stops HairCRM’s future API access to the relevant Instagram account.

The user may also revoke HairCRM’s access through their Meta or Instagram account settings.

Data Deletion Request

To request the deletion of your data stored within HairCRM, you may contact us at the following email address:

You may be asked to provide the necessary information to help identify your HairCRM account or connected business account so that the deletion request can be applied to the correct account.

For security purposes, it may be necessary to verify that the person submitting the request is authorized to act on the relevant account.

Scope of Deletion

As a result of a valid data deletion request, the following data may be deleted depending on the scope of the request and applicable legal obligations:

• HairCRM records associated with the Instagram connection,
• Instagram user and profile information,
• Instagram conversations and messages stored within HairCRM,
• Supported media records associated with messages,
• Access information stored for the operation of the integration,
• Relevant technical connection records.

Deleting a message or conversation locally through HairCRM does not necessarily delete the original message or conversation from the Instagram platform. Data stored on Instagram is managed by Meta and Instagram systems in accordance with their own policies.

Data Retention

There may be circumstances where certain records must be retained for a specific period due to legal obligations, security requirements, fraud prevention, or legal claims.

In such cases, the data will be retained only for the period and purpose for which it is required.

Meta Data Deletion Requests

HairCRM may use the necessary technical callback mechanisms to support valid data deletion notifications submitted to the application by Meta.

If you revoke HairCRM’s access through Meta or Instagram, the relevant data deletion processes may be applied depending on the nature of the connection and the request.
